So, I have some serious blog catching up to do, but for now, it's time to get back into my 12 of 12 routine. January and February I was feeling too awful to want to take pictures and post them, and March and April the 12th just flew by without me noticing. So here's May 12th, a Saturday, the day before Mother's Day.
- I'm not sleeping very well, so I was up early and decided to be constructive. I'm doing some sewing for a friend's business and got a bunch done before the kids woke up.
- I really dislike photos of myself while I'm pregnant, much less pregnant and still in pajamas and pre-makeup and hair, but this is my in all my prego glory. I needed to practice the song the Primary sang the next day for Mother's Day at church.
- We spent an hour or so cleaning the church today. Yes, this is just the outside of the building, but I felt weird taking photos of us washing windows, taking out the trash, and cleaning bathrooms.
- I took the kids to the Issaquah Farmers' Market, and the kids were mesmerized by these little solar butterflies that flutter around and are powered by a tiny solar panel.
- Seth's turn with another cute little butterfly.
- Check it out...75 degrees. I've been waiting for the sun and warm temperatures!
- Seth and Lydia's friend had a birthday party, and I love this one of Calvin giving Seth a party favor. He looks so heartfelt and sincere as he hands over his packet of awesome dinosaurs and stickers.
- Too many peonies to count. I can't wait until these pop open. They're my favorite and remind my of my Granny.
- Our great friends invited us and another family over for a bbq dinner, and here are the kids taking a break from running around and digging in the dirt for Brooklyn to read them a story.
- An early Mother's Day surprise - red and purple tulips from my sweetheart.
- Here's a progress shot of our backyard project. We tore out our old, rotted wooden deck and are waiting for concrete to be poured. Can't wait for it to be done!
- After baths and before bed, the kids helped me make a frozen lemonade pie for dessert the next day, that is, if you consider "helping" licking the beaters.
